The Neurosurgeon Without Training

Doubt is a horrible affliction of the mind.  Doubt is what walls are built of.  Doubt is the essence of potholes and boulders.  Obstacles and roadblocks.  Doubt is everything and in an instant can be proven to be nothing. Nothing because its not real.  It does not exist but only in the mind as a thought.  I share the question as often as I can that I found as a young man that changed everything in my life.  "What if where I am now has nothing to do with where I can go"?  It is my great hope that you make this question your own.  Standing where you are at this exact moment offers no indication of what is possible tomorrow and the day after.  In my new book I wrote a line that has stuck with me that I have shared with many since. The line is "The bus driver is the neurosurgeon without training".  Its true.  Its true for you and for me and for everyone.  Yesterday was one of those days that offered glaring proof.  I was contacted and interviewed by one of the largest publications in the U.S. for those in the financial services industry.  The interview was highlighting the philosophy and coaching programs of some of the top financial services coaches in North America.  Here is the crazy part.  I was one of the four!  Here is why this appears so surreal to me.  Especially me.  Twelve years ago I had never worked with, coached or even had any contact with anyone in the financial services industry.  Today I'm the guy who is seen as one of the top experts.  The only reason this has happened is that over the past twelve years I have immersed myself in learning all there is to know about the industry and what it takes to succeed.  During these brief years I have developed 3 coaching programs and delivered the material and produced results for thousands.  I'm not telling you this to impress you.  I am telling you this because twelve years ago I would have never thought this possible.  I also know that where you stand right now that you may feel the exact same way.  That what you think possible and the doubts that you harbor can and will be proven wrong.  Here is the best advice I can give.  If you are doing what you love keep doing it.  Don't stop.  Know that today, tomorrow, six months or ten years from now it will show up for you, of that I am certain.  You see here is the truth for us all.  We are the neurosurgeon without training.  Have an excellent day.   Be well,   Randy Taylor   Buy The Books!
