It All Matters

It all matters. Gaining perspective as to where we are and what is going on in our lives often comes from reflection and gratitude. Rarely in life does it become apparent in the moment why a certain event has transpired in our lives. The truth is that the sums of our life experiences are responsible for creating who we are, where we are and what is possible tomorrow. Growing up in poverty and parent alcoholism and living on the streets at the time seemed cruel and unfair. I have since learned and gained a great appreciation for everything that happened in my life because those events are responsible for all that I have and will no doubt continue to shape all that is possible. Having gratitude for past, present and future events places us psychologically in a receiving mode. Having distain for the events in our lives will not serve us. A number of years ago while journaling I wrote three short sentences that I look at everyday. They are: I am grateful for where I came from. I am grateful for where I am. I am grateful for where I am going. Seeing the true value of all events of our lives will open more doors to the possibilities of tomorrow. Know this. It all matters. Have an excellent day. Be well, Randy Taylor
